How it Works

Part I: Pure Fantasy

  1. Each participant, or "owner", selects eight drivers (see About Drivers) and eight pit crews (see About Pit Crews) before the qualifying round of a racing series. This is considered an individual team.
  2. Each owner is given an allotment of gallons of gasoline to select their drivers and tires to select their pit crews. The owners’ overall limits cannot be exceeded during selections (see About Exchange Rate & Limits).
  3. With the exchange system (see About Exchange Rate & Limits), an owner can manipulate the overall limits by exchanging gallons of gasoline for tires or tires for gallons of gasoline.
  4. Each owner’s fantasy team (drivers and pit crews), depending on their performance in each race, is awarded miles per hour (mph) according to a scoring sheet. Then the owner is awarded 'Owner Points' from the average of all his/her teams. All Owner Points are then averaged and called Sponsor Points. Each sponsor is awarded points from the Owner Points for competitive comparison to other sponsors (see How To Score).
  5. The owner that assembles the fastest complete individual team of drivers and pit crews wins and the owner with the highest average team score wins that week's prize. The sponsor with the highest Sponsor Points wins over other sponsors that week.
  6. Cash prizes are awarded to the top Team, Owner, and Sponsor score each racing week. Additional cash prizes are awarded for overall top 10 scores in each category at the end of the 12 week event (see Race Purse).

Complete Reality
The season champion is decided on a real track in an actual race, not on a Web page
